Spanning twelve years of KYOTOGRAPHIE, this bilingual publication is a portrait of a festival shaped by people, place, and shared making. Framed under the zodiac cycle 十二支, and rooted in the shared vision of its founders, the book unfolds as a constellation of voices—artists, curators, friends, and thinkers—each offering reflections on creativity and kinship. New essays and conversations trace the festival’s evolution and the cultural currents it moves within, from Kyoto’s living heritage to dialogues on transculturalism and photography. Its through-line is the narrative voice made authentic to its founders. Its pacing, feel, and tone reflect KG: open and accessible.
